Graphic design

I love good design. I’ve taken design courses at  the Ontario College of Art and SFU, and I enjoy the challenge of laying out clean pages that attract the reader’s eye and make it easy to absorb and understand information. I’m fascinated by the history and evolution of typography, and by the power of white space to emphasize text and images.

In 2005, as part of my MFA program at UBC, I worked on a student team that produced a non-fiction literary magazine, Fugue. I did the bulk of the design work for the cover and inside pages. I think the results are attractive and  professional.
