For two years I wrote a dozen news and feature stories a day. Now that’s deadline pressure. I went on to hold staff jobs at the Barrie Examiner, Ottawa Journal and Globe and Mail. I continue to freelance for the Globe, Boston Globe, Ottawa Citizen, Vancouver Sun and other newspapers.
